Muhammad Isa Sanuri, the Head of Monas Area Manager Unit (UPK), stated that Monas operation on Idulfitri 1445 H or Wednesday (10/4) was closed and only reopened on Thursday (11/4). “The total number of visitors in the Monas area yesterday was recorded at 78,886 tourists,” said Isa on Friday (12/4).
According to Isa, out of the total of 78,886 visitors in the Monas area, 234 of them were foreign tourists. Then, 12,438 tourists accessed the Monas Monument. Isa explained that during the Eid holiday season on April 11-14, 2024, they prepared various entertainments with the theme ‘Eid at Monas Aja’.
Every day, visitors can enjoy the dancing fountain entertainment from 7.30 PM to 8.00 PM and the second session from 8.30 PM to 9.00 PM. In addition, video mapping performances are also presented every day from 8.00 PM to 8.30 PM and the second session from 9.00 PM to 9.30 PM.
On April 13, 2024, there will also be a entertainment stage on the south side of Monas starting from 4.00 PM. “There will be a number of capital city artists and interesting art performances,” said Isa.
