Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, recently participated in the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration event before heading to Saudi Arabia. Dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta around 3:15 PM. Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Foreign Minister Sugiono, among others, President Prabowo received a formal farewell from high-ranking officials as he departed for his official state visit.
Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, President Prabowo and Defense Minister Sjafrie observed military cadets practicing a marching band performance. The primary aim of Prabowo’s visit to Saudi Arabia is to enhance bilateral cooperation, focusing on the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and identifying potential strategic partnerships between the two nations. This visit is intended to strengthen the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both countries.
