Indonesia’s National Children’s Day holds a significant place in President Prabowo Subianto’s agenda as it aims to implement concrete actions for the well-being of the country’s children. The government has introduced three key programs under the leadership of Dedek Prayudi from the Presidential Communications Office. These programs include Nutritious Free Meals (MBG), Free Health Checkups (CKG), and School Revitalization, all aimed at directly benefiting children. MBG focuses on providing essential daily nutrition to school-aged children, addressing issues like skipping breakfast, which can lead to iron deficiency anemia and affect cognitive development. CKG offers comprehensive health checkups to students, aligning with the constitutional rights to access healthcare services and maintain good health. Moreover, the School Revitalization Program plans to renovate over 11,000 schools nationwide to provide better learning environments for students. President Prabowo has allocated significant funds to address the urgent need for school repairs in the country. These initiatives underscore the government’s commitment to safeguarding the well-being and future of Indonesia’s children, ensuring they have the essential resources and facilities to thrive.
