President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, received heartfelt letters from junior and senior high school students at Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School) in Cibinong, West Java. The President personally took the time to read these letters in his office, as shared through the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat. The post featured two photographs, one showing President Prabowo engrossed in the letters and another displaying a handwritten note from a student.
One of the students, Erni Andayani, wrote a moving letter expressing her gratitude to Prabowo for inaugurating Sekolah Rakyat, providing access to quality education, and reigniting her aspirations. The school was launched for the 2025-2026 academic year and is managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs, catering to children from economically disadvantaged families.
Sekolah Rakyat currently operates in 63 locations across Indonesia, including Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This initiative aims to empower the younger generation, offering them opportunities for a brighter future and a chance to contribute positively to the nation.
