The Quick Impact Programs (PHTC) demonstrate the government’s commitment to its people, as stated by Chacha Annisa, Senior Expert Staff at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), during the “Double Check” discussion on “The Role of Family Development in Welcoming Indonesia Emas 2045.” Chacha highlighted that various programs implemented by the government since January, such as Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), Free Health Checks (CKG), School-Based Free Health Checks, Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School), and others, are aimed at benefiting families. However, active participation from families is crucial for the successful implementation of these programs.
She shared her experience of monitoring the School-Based Free Health Checks with the Ministry of Health, emphasizing the importance of informing and educating parents before the health workers arrive. This approach helps ensure that children do not avoid the check-ups. Additionally, Chacha mentioned how the CKG program has encouraged healthy competition among students, leading to positive changes in their habits, such as eating breakfast and reducing screen time.
Under the PHTC initiative, significant accomplishments have been achieved. The MBG program has established 4,424 Nutrition Service Units (SPPG), benefiting 8.2 million people and generating 82,000 jobs. The Free Health Checks program has reached 17.6 million individuals, with 12.7 million already examined. The Sekolah Rakyat program is currently serving 5,665 students in 159 schools, while 81,500 Merah Putih Village and Neighborhood Cooperatives have been established. Moreover, the school-based CKG program has conducted health checks on 34,542 students in just three days.
Chacha emphasized that these achievements not only signify numbers but also reflect the government’s dedication and tangible presence in the lives of the people. By actively participating in these programs, families can benefit from the government’s efforts to improve their well-being and future prospects.
