A group of farmers from Karawang, West Java, attended the 80th Independence Day Ceremony of Indonesia at Merdeka Palace, invited by President Prabowo Subianto. They emphasized the importance of maintaining rice and paddy production to ensure food sovereignty in Karawang. The farmers conveyed their hopes for continuous support from the government to achieve food self-sufficiency, expressing enthusiasm and passion for President Prabowo’s goals. They also commended the affordable fertilizer program initiated by President Prabowo, highlighting its significance in enhancing independence in the food sector. The farmers concluded with a message of optimism, hoping for continued affordability of fertilizers, high rice prices during harvest, and success for Karawang farmers.
