Sugiono, the newly appointed Secretary-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) for the 2025–2030 term, expressed his gratitude to his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who had served in the position for 17 years. In a statement at Garuda Yaksa Padepokan, Sugiono thanked Muzani for his significant contributions to the party, especially his role in leading Prabowo Subianto to the presidency. He also acknowledged Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad for his efforts in building the party over the years. Sugiono emphasized the importance of unity among party members and their support for President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership in creating a just and prosperous Indonesia. The newly announced Gerindra Central Executive Board (DPP) for the 2025–2030 period includes Prabowo Subianto as Chairman, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General.
