Anggota DPR RI dari Fraksi Partai Demokrat, H. Anton Sukartono Suratto, recently conducted a reses activity during the 2025 session in the village of Petir, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. The purpose of this activity was to gather public aspirations while also fostering relationships and social care by providing assistance to 40 orphans.
During the event, H. Anton Sukartono Suratto explained that reses is an important moment for representatives of the people to directly hear the needs of the community. He emphasized that reses serves as a means for them to go down to the field, listen, and absorb the people’s aspirations.
Anton reaffirmed his commitment to promoting digitalization and empowering communities through technology. He mentioned his involvement in Commission I, where many programs related to digitalization and empowering communities online are developed. He hopes that this will strengthen people’s capacity in the technology era.
Regarding the national economic situation, Anton acknowledged that the community still faces significant challenges post-pandemic. He expressed hope that collaboration between the government, business sector, and the community can accelerate economic recovery.
The Head of Petir Village, Sukardi, expressed gratitude for H. Anton and the members of the Bogor Regency DPRD for their presence in the area. He hopes that this activity will be a concrete step in advocating for development in the village.
The reses activity also involved providing assistance to 40 orphans as a form of social care from the Democratic Party towards the village community. It is hoped that this activity will strengthen synergy between the central government, regional authorities, and village communities.
