President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, visited Klaten, Central Java, to inaugurate the Merah Putih Village Cooperative Program. The program is a key initiative of his administration aimed at strengthening rural economies and creating new jobs across Indonesia. The President’s motorcade journey was met with warm enthusiasm from the residents, teachers, and schoolchildren who lined the streets to greet him. President Prabowo, wearing a brown suit and black peci (cap), greeted the crowd with smiles and waves, even handing out shirts along the way. The official launch ceremony took place in Bentangan Village, Wonosari District, marking a significant step towards achieving equitable and inclusive development at the village level. With over 80,000 cooperatives planned nationwide, the program is scheduled to be fully operational by October 28, 2025.
